Hi Everyone! I am slowly settling into the new apartment. I still have many boxes to unpack but my curtains are hanging and many of my pictures are on the walls. Last week I bought a new monitor (after working many years on an old CRT) and I added a 1.5 terrabyte disk to my 4 year old computer. It is amazing how prices for hard disks have gone down over the years. When I asked the sales person for a suggestion on how to backup the large hard disk, he said to get another hard disk. I think I will continue to backup up my important files to DVD's and use my old hard disk and my external hard disk for larger backups. BTW - When was the last time you backed up your important data? Think about what you will have to do if your disk goes. At least backup your email address book and your recent resume. If you have kids in school I would recommend backing up all their school projects and their favorite games.
