Hi Everyone! I hope (B"H) to send out a CJI job report next week. The main reason for this email is to tell you that tomorrow, June 3, 2009, Tel-Aviv University is having its 29th annual job fair. This is one of the largest annual job fairs inthe country. The job fair is for students and graduates but is also open to the general public (I just verified that on the phone). There are 90 companies registered for booths at the fair. I would recommend bringing with you a teudat zehut card or other picture id card and getting there early. Bring plenty of copies of your updated resume. The job fair will take place on the Tel-Aviv university campus. Date: June 3, 2009 Time: 10:00 to 18:00 Additional details are available on the job fair website (in Hebrew) at: http://jobfair.tau.ac.il ------------------------------------------------------------ Steven Posner (thanks!) sent me pictures of the New York City Salute to Israel Parade which took place on Sunday, May 31, 2009. The theme of the parade was: Tel Aviv @ 100 - Celebrating the Centennial of Tel Aviv! I posted the pictures on my website at: http://www.jr.co.il/rally/world/2009/r0017.htm When the first page comes up, press the F11 key on the top of your keyboard for a full page view. Use the icon buttons on the bottom of each page to navigate. Enjoy the pictures! ------------------------------------------------------------ I am looking to sell several of my educational websites. I posted online a list of the sites and their descriptions. The address is: http://www.jr.co.il/forsale.htm If you are interested in any of the sites, please contact me by email with the subject: Websites for Sale. If you know someone or a company that may be interested, please forward them this message. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------ If you visit the job fair, please let me know how it was and which companies are seeking computer personnel. Thanks! Have a good day, Jacob
