Hi Everyone! At 10am on Monday morning, the sirens were sounded all over Israel and everyone stopped what they were doing and stood in memory of the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust. Israel is the only place in the world were the whole population hears a siren to remind everyone not to forget. The programs on television and radio were devoted to the Holocaust. The schools had special lessons for the students. For my first 26 years I grew up in New York and the day would go by without people knowing. In Israel it is different. Everyone remembers.
